I added a new page for the new cross stitch project: Snowflake Nativity. Currently in progress, about half done.

I didn't get nearly as much accomplished over the Christmas break as I thought I would. Between being sick, and having some unexpected company, I just wasn't as productive as I could have been!

COSTUMING
I've ordered custom boots. Waiting for those to be made and delivered. Tried to find fabric for the Imperial Officer uniform, but no dice. I will have to order it online when I get around to it. I didn't work on it at all over the break, like I thought I would, because I was really concentrating on the cross stitch.

R2-D2 REPLICA BUILD
Researching until break started and then nothing. I was a stitching, and sleeping fool. :)

LIGHTSABER BUILD
Still looking for some pipe. Got a dremel for Christmas, so that's cool. I purchased a graflex flash on Ebay (not THE graflex, but it will work for my 'recycled' item I was looking for! Not I will concentrate on finding some new pipe. Having a hard time finding 12" pipe!

WORK/VOLUNTEER
Weekly Junior Achievement Company Program meetings (advisor)
Picked up a short tutoring gig in the middle of the month
The regular stuff (Support Centre (Job #1), UEY (Job #2) and the county (Job #3)

Goals for next month: Finish Snowflake Nativity (possibly unrealistic), work on a paper R2 replica, start a mock-up of the Imperial Officer Uniform. Get more work done on the county work.

I've decided to do progress reports on my various projects for those people that are interested in that kind of thing (and also to make me feel like I've accomplished something!)

CROSS STITCH
Finished St. Basils and took to the framers, finished a few small projects, started Snowflake Nativity.

COSTUMING
My Rebel Dress Uniform was approved by the Rebel Legion, so I am officially a member! Purchased the pattern and fabric for my X-Wing flightsuit. Have the patterns for my Imperial officer ordered.

R2-D2 REPLICA BUILD
R&D stage - reading the R2 Builders archive and books on robots for beginners.

REUNION PLANNING
Although I about ready to call the whole thing off, I was talked off that ledge. A lot of productive discussions happened at the end of the month.

3 small finishes. Probably my last for a while as I am starting some larger projects. Check out the 2007 Cross stitch page. Also, the Iceland slide show didn't work for some browsers, so I've uploaded it as a .pdf (adobe reader required).

My Star Wars costume was approved by the Rebel Legion! So I've added a link to my Online Communities section.

My Star Wars page has had a few changes - the collections section (haves and wants) has been continously updated as my collection changes. I have also added a page for my first Star Wars costume!

As you see the site's gone few a couple of changes! I'm still not entirely happy, so design-wise there may still be some changes, but the layout won't change.

Content-wise I've added Chatelaine's Advent Snowflake and updated the progress on St. Basil's. I've updated the Awards page and added some pictures and information about my Iceland trip. I've also updated the photo gallery.

Finished Misty Morning Vineyard and completed th Mystery VI Needleroll/Tryout. Note - these are only accessible via this page for now. I need to update the main cross stitch page...but not tonight! That and more photos hpefully to be added by the end of May.
