Mystery Quilt
Here are some 'thumbnails' of block I have completed so far. Just click on the picture to see an enlarged version. I am using mostly some forms of silk, satin and velvet - and other fancy fabrics. Some cotton pieces will also be used.
I will be embellishing the blocks after I've quilted all of them.

I am continuing the border onto the back of my quilt. The inner part will be a mottled green flannel.

Block 4 - 3 hours - 16 pieces, 3 cotton.

| DESIGN SIZE: | Border blocks are approximatley 10"x12" |
| COST OF MATERIALS: | fabric $150.00 - I'm just estimating. I bought a lot of 'lots' on ebay, and not everything I received I am planning on using for this quilt. |
| STARTED-FINISHED: | 30 July 2004 |
| HOURS: | 23.75 |
| NOTES: | This quilt is part of the Mystery Quilt 1 project from Martina Weber. The blocks that have been cross-stitched from that series of designs will be used in this quilt. So far the actual quilting is my design - and my first ever attempt! There is a quilting group to go along with this, but it doesn't start until January 2005. I am interested to see what kinds of things we will learn! |
